In providing accommodation services, we process personal data in accordance with:
• Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR)
• Slovenian Personal Data Protection Act (ZVOP-2)
• Residence Registration Act
• Tourism Development Promotion Act
• Other applicable legislation of the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union.
Purpose of processing personal data
We process personal data for:
• receiving and confirming reservations,
• providing accommodation services,
• mandatory guest registration (eTurizem),
• calculation and payment of tourist tax,
• communication with guests before, during and after their stay,
• issuing invoices,
• compliance with other legal obligations.
The legal basis is the accommodation contract (reservation), legal obligations, or legitimate interest where permitted by law.
Contact form and enquiries
When you contact us via the contact form, e-mail or telephone, we process the personal data you voluntarily provide, such as:
• name and surname
• e-mail address
• telephone number
• message content
The data are used exclusively for handling your enquiry, communicating with you, preparing an offer or confirming a reservation, and providing accommodation services.
The data are not used for direct marketing and are not disclosed to third parties unless required by law or necessary for providing accommodation services.
Personal data processed
Depending on the case, we may process:
• name and surname
• contact details
• reservation details
• legally required guest registration data (date of birth, gender, nationality, type and number of identification document)
• invoicing data
• payment data where necessary.
We process only the data necessary for providing accommodation services and fulfilling legal obligations.
Mandatory guest registration
Under Slovenian law, all guests must be registered in the eTurizem system. This processing is required by law and consent is not required. Without these data, accommodation cannot be provided.
Protection of personal data
Personal data are protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or disclosure. Access is limited to authorised persons.
Processors and recipients
Contracted partners (e.g. accounting service providers, website hosting providers, reservation platforms) may process personal data only under contract and in accordance with the GDPR. Personal data are disclosed to public authorities only where required by law.
Retention period
Personal data are retained only for as long as necessary or required by law:
• guest register data in accordance with the Residence Registration Act,
• invoices and accounting records for 10 years,
• contact form data until the communication or purpose has been completed.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify, erase (where legally permitted), restrict processing, object to processing, data portability and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
The rights to erasure and objection are limited where processing is required by law.
